Fun At Disney World

We're almost finished with our time at Disney World.  Tomorrow we hit Typhoon Lagoon and then in the afternoon, we have to start home.  It's been a great time with Andrew and Owen (and their parents), with many memories and pictures we'll share when we get a better Internet connection, my Sprint air card is very slow here for some reason.

Along with the fun, we've have some precious conversations with Owie, who has a unique view of life and an interesting vocabulary for a 3 1/2 year old.

We were walking in the Magic Kingdom and I was carrying Owie.  He leaned over my shoulder, put his mouth to my ear and whispered, "Pa (that's what he calls me), did you know you have hair growing out of your ears?".

Owie and I were driving around Fort Wilderness in our golf cart.  Coming to a "T" intersection we had this conversation:

Pa:  "Which way should we go?"
Owie:  "Go left" he says as he points to the road on the right.
Pa:  "But that's right".
Owie: "Just pretend that it's left!"

We're driving back to the campground after our day at the Magic Kingdom.  It's after 9 PM and it's dark out.  Often times you can see armadillos walking around the roads at night.  Here's our conversation:

Pa:  "I bet we'll see some armadillos".
Owie:  "We better keep our eyes ripped".  (I think he meant pealed).

Special moments with time well spent with our grandsons.  Memories we'll treasure.

PS:  Andrew says I scream like a girl on roller coasters and Mimi (Marti)  clucks (laughs) like a chicken!  :c)

  5. That is exactly why our visit was not as precious as we had hoped it to be. Without our grandson...nothing seems to be as much fun. We enjoyed ourselves but would have been extra special seeing it from his eyes.

So happy that you guys had those special moments...treasure them and we look forward to the photos!
