I know our grandsons, Spidey Andrew and Green Owie are super, now I know they're our Super Heroes.
We got an email from our realtor, Mike, saying that the house inspection went well and the buyers have just two items they'd like us to take care of. I'll wait to see the final report, but we're leaning towards taking care of one and declining the other. It will require some wall modifications to upgrade some switches and electrical sockets that the inspector recommended. I don't feel like getting involved in another project at this time with so many other things to take care of. Plus, I've retired my paintbrush for good. :c)
We are awaiting the appraisal report, too. So once that comes through, Marti and I will be signing the closing papers in advance. We are not going to the actual closing, we've booked a stay for Thanksgiving with Spiderman and the Green Lantern in South Carolina.
Now we're waiting to see pictures of our granddaughters out in Oregon, to see what costumes they're wearing.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Thanks for visiting and feel free to leave a comment.
Oh, I hope the sale goes through for you. Sometimes it takes a while to find the right buyer.

Praying the sale is a go...kids looked cute :)....will be watching for an update...
ReplyDeleteThis is a done deal yes?
ReplyDeleteSeems fair to split their requests. They do one, you do one.
You are so on your way!!
Are you going to see the boys and then coming back or going on??
Sherry,
ReplyDeleteIt's a done deal as certain as anything can be. The closing in Monday, 28 Nov.
We're going to SC for Thanksgiving and then coming back up this way for a few days as Marti will have to work out her notice. Then we're up to NJ on 3 Dec for my Dad's 90th birthday.
After that...color us gone. OR bound to be there for Christmas.
the super heros are the cutest I have seen today!!!..I agree..you do one and the new owners can do the other!!..have a great halloween!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they dressed up just so you could see just how cute they are. And, they are cute.
ReplyDeleteMy fingers and toes are again crossed that the sale will go through if you decline those switches. Heck, I'm even going to cross my eyes this time for you!
Sounds like things are going well with the house. Two things is not bad, especially if you only end up doing one of them.
ReplyDeleteThe grands look ...well...grand! Don't know where your Oregon grands are, but we are in Eugene and it is a wonderful evening for trick or treating. We have had more trick or treaters tonight than we have had in years. Such fun!
Cute costumes! We got to go with our 4yr old grandson on trick or treat today:)
ReplyDeleteIt's so much fun to see how creative moms and kids can be for Halloween. It's also nice to have some left over candy that some of your favorites! (Could be that's why they are on the bottom of the bowl?)
ReplyDeleteJust think -- this time next year you'll get to see the Halloween costumes for at least one set of grandkids in person!
ReplyDeleteWe're smiling and watching closely!! We will get to see how to sell a house and depart in 1 month;o)) Real interested in the Estate Sale process. We are willing to sell our home furnished, but need a backup plan if that doesn't happen.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the journey.......
be prepared to do both items... buyers can be finicky and will walk away from a deal for little things... do what it takes to get her sold!
ReplyDeleteHope the appraisal comes through. A quick question though. You mention you are not waiting for the closing, have the buyers been pre-approved or approved yet. Down here in South Florida I have seen many sales fall through because the buyers were not approved at the last minute. Just curious because I would hate to see "Murphy" rear his ugly head again :)
ReplyDeleteG
ahhhh, to sing those wonderful papers! And in advance. If the new buyers want electrical changes made they should do it themselves... Kinda nervy to ask you to do it.
