Marti's Musings: How do you spell RELIEF?

Well, we got word today that the appraisal is fine.  The last piece today was to send the HOA disclosure packet to the sellers.  That has minimal risk for changing anything at this point so.....

                                                  *******drum roll, please******

I submitted my letter of resignation!!

                                       TA-DA!

                                                     DONE!

                                                       FINISHED!

Well, actually my last day will be Dec 2nd.  After work we will head to NJ for Paul's Dad's 90th birthday party on December 3rd then we head to Oregon to be there for Christmas!   Woo Hoo!  Yippee!   The light at the end of the tunnel wasn't a train after all!  Ha Ha.

We are feeling mightily blessed that we are able to retire at this time in our life, when we still have our health, mental faculties (ok, that might be a stretch) and (most of) our teeth (ha ha).  God is good!

So, tonight we should sleep pretty well....

Tomorrow we Christmas shop. Yup, you read that right.  We gotta leave Christmas gifts for the kids that we will not see this Christmas.  We also start working on Paul's multi colored lists that are posted all over the fridge.

So, the countdown begins!

28 days til full time

Thanks for stopping by, and feel free to leave a comment.  ~Marti

  16. Yeah!!! I bet all your co-workers are sooo jealous. I hope Paul's father's 90th is as amazing as our father's was. I swear it subtracted 10 years off his age. He's acting 80 again! That's an awfully quick run across the country for a full-timer. :-)
