You Know It's Been A Good Day...

...when you are sitting on the couch in your RV relaxing after dinner and you haven't a clue if you accomplished anything at all.  At least that is for me.

Marti, however, has been having a ball doing all kinds of crafts and working on gifts for an upcoming baby shower.  First thing tomorrow, we have to get to the Post Office and get the items in the mail.

We're departing our campground tomorrow and heading further South and then a little East to stop at Edwards Air Force base campground.  We'll do a couple of days there, hit the commissary to stock up and get ready to head down to my cousin's house in Escondido, CA.  We've already got another Passport America campground picked out.

We originally planned on heading all the way to San Diego, but we've revised our plans not to go there this time, we do want to get to Quartzsite and stay a week or two.  Our Roadmaster tow bar is showing its age and I need to get it overhauled.  We also have a few upgrade items we want to look for.

Of course, the biggy is to meet up with many of our blogger friends that we've come to know via computer.  We'll have to see if they still like us after they meet us in person...

So, even though we've slowed down and are taking our time, the clock is ticking.

Thanks for visiting and feel free to leave a comment.

  1. Nice and warm here in Escondido, at least during the day. At night it cools down very quickly to just above freezing.

  3. Getting closer to warmth! Getting a quick inch of snow this morning. We've been lucky. George is hoping that the shovel will go in the dumpster come March. No need for it where we're gonna be :)

  7. Slowing down is hard to do. After a week or so I am ready to see what is over the next hill. Hope to see you in Quartzsite. We will be arriving there on Monday and staying for three weeks.
