Yesterday afternoon, I got a phone call from my buddy, Ron. He was my partner for a number of years in the Coast Guard Investigative Service. We're as close as two brothers.
His call blew me away. Seems he and his wife, Amy went to an RV show...you know where this is going, don't you?
Yep, they bought an RV, a 2012 Coachman Freelander Class C. They were thinking of buying a vacation home and Amy suggested that an RV would be perfect for them, they wouldn't be tied to one geographic area. Smart lady!
Wonder where they got that idea from. I guess I'm just a bad influence. :c)
Now we're looking forward to meeting up and doing some trips together. When the RV bug bites, it bites hard!
Thanks for visiting and feel free to leave a comment.

How long do you give them to trade to a diesel class A?
ReplyDeleteBack to corrupting the Coast Guard are you?? :)
ReplyDeleteMost bad influences need a partner in crime. A whole new chapter of adventures is opening for you.
ReplyDeleteWhen I read the title I knew it was true. However, good for you because now you'll get them on the road and be able to put a few more suggestions into their minds. You'll also have someone else to meet in great RV parks.
ReplyDeleteExtend our Welcome to Ron and Amy to the wonderful world of RVing!
ReplyDeleteDo let us know if they join the blogging community too ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou sound really sorry that you're such a bad influence too :)
ReplyDeleteHA! I said when I read the title....you can say that again. But after reading the post, I'd say that, at least in this instance, you were actually a good influence. They are going to have great times for sure!
ReplyDeleteThat's great!! Bet you're excited about meeting up with them on the road!
ReplyDeleteHey, the more the merrier! That Carolina Clan reunion could get bigger!
ReplyDeleteYes it does bite hard! I found myself saying to a cousin this past weekend that we are finished with houses! LOL
ReplyDeleteYou will only be bad if they hate the RV:)
ReplyDeleteIf you can't be a good example you'll just have to be a TERRIBLE WARNING!!! Good job
ReplyDeleteLeanne, Laurie and George's Mom
how terrible of you..geesh..you should be ashamed of yourself for 'introducing' yet another couple into the RV world!..lucky them..and like the others have said..the more the merrier..continue with your recruiting!!
ReplyDeleteYou are a Bad Boy, but they'll love it.
ReplyDeleteWay to go!!! I love men who are a bad influence. lol They are so going to love the RVing life (at least we hope they do) and with you guys to share it with and help them through problems - what more could you want.
ReplyDeleteDid you get your commission from Coachman? Only seems fair...
ReplyDeleteNo, no, that's a GOOD influence. Ron's brother was looking at RVs, but bought a park model instead. I don't think everyone is made for the RVing lifestyle.
