Not much going on that is on the cutting edge of excitement here at J. Strom Thurmond Lake COE. We haven’t been out in the woods recently, instead we’ve spent a good deal of time with the team of volunteers getting the Water Safety Program up and running. Sadly, you’d be bored to death if I posted pictures of us making copies of documents, or stapling information packages together.
So in the interim, until we do something that will be interesting, informative or even mildly note worthy, here are a few RV and camping cartoons. Hope they brighten up your day!

Some of these are so true they are exceptionally funny.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness, something to laugh about. Boy can I use it. I want my windows XP back.
ReplyDeleteI seen that guy with the rocks amd boards under his front wheel at GNR;)
ReplyDeleteI know what you've been doing ... reading the funnies. Cute! I bet that kept you busy for a while.
ReplyDeleteloved every one!
ReplyDeleteLol, perfect!
ReplyDeleteI tried that rocks and boards routine once, but got some flak from the boss. OK, it wasn't *really* "rocks and boards", but I did have one of the front wheels up off the ground.
ReplyDeleteIt didn't pass inspection.
We RV'ers can be a humorous bunch all right. Not so funny when things happen sometimes but we almost always manage to put a humorous spin on things after all the stress levels have returned to normal......if there is such a thing as a normal stress level that is..
ReplyDeleteGotta be able to laugh at ourselves and just enjoy the lifestyle.
ReplyDeleteYou are keeping busy there and having fun too.
A lot of those cartoons looked very familiar to me for some reason.
ReplyDeleteYou made my day!
ReplyDeleteWe need that sign about the dog.
ReplyDeleteThe cartoons looked funny but a few of them were so small I couldn't read the captions even by enlarging them on my screen.
ReplyDeleteWe need the sign for 3 cats instead of a dog.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your great blog. Marie and I are sitting in our current sticks and brick accommodations with our 34 foot Fleetwood storm in the driveway. Our coach is undergoing some upgrades. I have installed washer dryer combo and water pure system along with paint and other touch up. Thanks to brave soles like you we have mustered up the nerve to check out of "normal" and into our coach, putting it in drive and heading into phase 2 of our life. Our question is, I am retired Army (thanks for your service also) we currently use Tricare prime and plan on switching to Standard before we leave. Do you use Tricare? if so do you have any advice.
