We interrupt the originally scheduled History Post...

...to bring you our visit with Fred and Jo Wishnie of "The Wandering Wishnies".

Jo, Fred and Boo Boo Wishnie

The Wishnies are camp hosting at the Prince William Forest Park, close by our home.  We jumped at the chance to meet them after following their RV travels over the last four years.

They travel in a fifth wheel trailer and have covered most of the U.S. and parts of Canada.  They have found some of the most interesting places in their travels, places we have added to our "Bucket List".

We had a nice dinner and great conversation with them.  They were so gracious to share their experiences on the road as full time RV travelers.  We learned so much from them and our time together underscored our plans to full time are reasonable and heading in the right direction.

The RV folks we've met as we make our plans have been great and willing to help us solidify our plans.
Fred and Jo Wishnie are two of the nicest people we've met and we now count them as friends in our RV circle.  We look forward to visiting with them again when we are on the road.

Tomorrow I'll get back to more historical posting on the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum (Sorry Marti).

Thanks for visiting and please feel free to leave a comment.

  1. Hey, Mr. Speedy. You didn't waste any time putting that up did you? As slow as I am, you'll have to wait to see yours on our blog :))

Thanks again for dinner. It was delightful meeting new friends. Will be waiting to see you get out here too.

    Take care.

  3. Ok. Do they have a blog? It says it's not active yet. The website was just info about who they are, etc.
