More from the Oregon Coast

We are pleased to get feedback from our blog visitors.  It seems that many of you are as taken by Oregon's beauty as we are, so we'll post some additional pictures.

Here are some of the local inhabitants on the docks in Astoria.

They smell REALLY BAD!  And they're NOISY!

This Trolley runs along the Astoria waterfront.

One of the last buildings that was a fish canning factory on the Columbia River.

This bridge goes over the Columbia River and connects Oregon with Washington State.  It is really high!

Many of Astoria's homes are built on the sides of the hills.

The views from these homes are spectacular.

Water abounds everywhere.

Some of the fishing fleet in port in Astoria.

Several U. S. Coast Guard cutters are homeported in Astoria, "Always Ready" to lend a helping hand.

The Trolley rides over?  Let's go again!
