200,000...And Counting!

It is amazing, our little ticker at the bottom of our blog page just ticked over 200,000 page views.  When we first started our blog back on  April 18, 2010, we hoped to document our journey to become full time RV travelers, and provide a glimpse into the ups, the downs and the emotions we encountered along the way.  By reading other RVers blogs, we learned what to do, what to expect and hopefully avoid some of the pitfalls along the way.

With our blog, we wished to return the favor to others who were and are seeking to live the full time life and let them learn from our experiences.  As our blog became more widely read, and our followers grew, we were very encouraged by comments folks left for us.   We hope that we've been as helpful to others as many been to us.

So thanks to all who have taken the time to read our posts, and to the many who have offered comments, we appreciate each and every one of you.  One highlight has been for us to be able to meet many of you in person and become great friends.  The RV blog world is an unique place, a family if you will, and we are so glad to be a part of it.

If you ever get the chance, we'd love to meet up with any of our readers, and those that we've already met, we'd love to get together again down the road.  Our email address is at both the top and bottom of our blog.  Feel free to contact us anytime.

Thanks to each and every one of you!

  1. It is amazing to us, too, the amount of full-time (or part time) RVrs there are out there. Most all of them have such wisdom to share, a shoulder to cry on, and somebody to laugh with. We cannot wait to see our 'old' friends, and make even more 'new' friends, very soon! Glad to count you two as one of them!

  3. It isn't just aspiring full-timers who enjoy your blog, Marti (or Paul?) I have enjoyed reading about your ups and downs and adventures even though I am only a part timer, and I have learned much from you. Nice blog and keep it up!

  5. Rest easy Paul. I think I've found a poor intern that is willing to wash and wax my rig before I leave here. That should take the pressure off our meeting again somewhere. :)

  11. It's a whole different world out there when you're in your RV. The people are different and it takes an RVer to know an RVer. We sure enjoyed meeting and following along with both of you and I just know we'll have an opportunity to meet up again one day soon.

  13. Hey, I (oh wait, I mean, "WE") don't even own an RV, but I still tune in most everyday, depending on what I'm doing. It's a combination of putting something in print that won't put me to sleep, (not too long winded, say) along with maybe some travels, history, Coast Guard stuff (that I wouldn't learn about or be interested in otherwise)
and the review of the motorhome was pretty darned interesting too. Some stuff in there that would have never occurred to me. Like that whole, "Store Less" issue.
    Keep on truckin'.

  14. Great Blog and I am always grateful for your advice when we are having issues. When we have an issue Catherine always says "put it on the blog Paul will help." We appreciate it.
