Marti's Musings: Does it get any betther than this?

A (delayed)but quick flight to SC, got us here safely last night.  Seeing the kids/grandkids waiting for us, and then having the grandkids run to us  - wow, does it get better than this?

Getting to see their new classrooms for the first time, taking them to their favorite Japanese restaurant, playing our favorite Wii games together - laughing and playing together.  Does it get any better than this?

"Mimi, I am so glad you are here."  (says our 3 yr old grandson Owen).  "I love you, Mimi."  (says our 6 yr old grandson Andrew).  Spontaneous hugs, kisses and giggles.  Does it get any better than this?

Perhaps it does - when we are Full Timers, and can spend more than a quick weekend to visit.  Squeezing in favorite activities, soccer games, and lots of lovin'.  Yeah, it just might get better, because it will be longer visits -  THIS is the reason we are determined to push through the nonsense of moving and selling a house.

Yup - it gets better.  No doubt about it.
