It’s a rainy day here is South Carolina with not much going on. I thought I’d rerun a post I did a couple of years ago of one of my finer moments during my Coast Guard career. I've only been on a boat one time that was taking on serious water. We had just put the thing in the water and it had to do with the engine cooling system and a pet cock that was turned the wrong way. Had me down on my hands and knees for a few minutes there trying to sort that one out. I can't imagine being out in the deep blue and having a boat sink out from under me. That would suck.
ReplyDeleteIt's a little surprising that they let it get that far along before thinking that maybe they should investigate? Unfortunately, there are a lot of dummies out there on boats.
