Rerun

It’s a rainy day here is South Carolina with not much going on.  I thought I’d rerun a post I did a couple of years ago of one of my finer moments during my Coast Guard career.  Some of you may remember it, but I’m sure many others never saw it,  So, enjoy, or have a good laugh…whatever comes to mind.  :c)

Too bad about the boat , but at least everyone was safe.

  6. I've only been on a boat one time that was taking on serious water. We had just put the thing in the water and it had to do with the engine cooling system and a pet cock that was turned the wrong way. Had me down on my hands and knees for a few minutes there trying to sort that one out. I can't imagine being out in the deep blue and having a boat sink out from under me. That would suck.
It's a little surprising that they let it get that far along before thinking that maybe they should investigate? Unfortunately, there are a lot of dummies out there on boats.
Lucky for them, you were there to "fix stupid".
