We weren’t really watching the calendar, but time waits for no one. Today marks our third anniversary on the road as full timers. It seems to agree with us, this lifestyle and, miracle of miracles, Marti hasn’t had the need to smother me with a pillow (yet)!
We’ve found a bunch of things to our liking that we never anticipated. Such as:
We really enjoy being with each other almost every hour of the day.
We have made life long friends all over the U.S. and Canada, (when we hardly knew our neighbors when we owned a house).
We enjoy the freedom to do as we want and go where we want, whenever we want.
We look forward to meeting RV friends on the road, again and again.
We enjoy workamping, we never even anticipated doing this at the beginning of our travels.
We enjoy blogging and reading other folks blogs. Our page view meter has recently clicked over 600,000 views. Amazing that anyone would find our travels so interesting.
We’ve enjoyed being able to visit our grandkids in three different states for extended periods of time and stay involved in their lives while giving their parents a break.
Owning and maintaining an RV, while expensive is still much more economical than owning a house. And less time consuming.
So here is to more of the same things and new adventures in the future!
Thanks for visiting and feel free to leave a comment.
Congratulations on your third year! Hopefully one day we'll meet and hear more of your FT experiences. Love your blog and the comments you leave.
