RV Dreams Friends

We attended the RV Dreams Rally in Long, SC this past April and had a wonderful time.  Not only were there great seminar topics on a variety of RV issues, there was great food and lots of fun.

One of the best things about these kinds of gatherings is the people, people who you've never met before, but once you're introduced, you feel like you have known them forever.

One couple we met live within a hour of us.  At the rally, we exchanged emails and promised to keep in touch.  Last night we were able to keep that promise.

We met our friends, Mike and Terri at the Outback Restaurant in Fredericksburg, VA.  It was wonderful to re-hash some of the rally fun and share our like minded plans, adventures and dreams.

So often, upon hearing our plans to full time in our RV, friends and relatives give an "Uh huh" kind of reaction, but never really understand or encourage our plans.  Some of them, believe it or not, actually think we're nuts!

It was such a refreshing change and encouragement to talk to Mike and Terri, we all speak the language of Full Timing. :c)

After a too short visit, we went home, looking forward to another visit in the near future.  They are a great couple and we're glad to have them as our friends.

Waiting to welcome us home was another friend, hanging on our front storm door glass.  This friend does not speak Full Timing.

Thanks for visiting. We'd love to have you leave a comment!

  1. Paul and Marti --

We had such a great time last night, and look forward to future visits with you. We agree that it's really refreshing to spend time with friends that speak the same full timing language that we do. Until next time, take care.

Oh yeah -- say hi to Kermit (the frog) for us.

  2. Oh how nice to meet up with fellow RV Dreamers! We hope to someday meet with many of them too in our travels.

Your frog is way too cool!
