Some days I don't have much "RV" related things to blog about, but today is another step towards fulltiming in our Journey.  I spent the day with my relief going over all the ins-and-outs of my job, responsibilities and projects that I do.  My relief is an old friend that I worked closely with over the years and he'll be perfect for the job.  It's nice to have someone you know well to assume your duties, it is almost like handing over a treasured possession, something you've put a lot of time and effort into and entrust it with someone that will care for it.  Progress.

I have some more meetings on Wednesday with my relief and some of the higher ups in my chain of command to get them briefed in on the relief plans.  Progress.

My boss (in Georgia) approved my draft retirement letter, now I can mail him the formal signed copy and get the official ball rolling.  Progress.

I found a special tool to take apart PVC plumbing pipes to fix my leaky sink, have to order it tomorrow.  Progress.

All small steps but start adding them up and we can see we're getting closer.  Now if I can just progress myself up onto the roof and clean those gutters... ;c)

Thanks for visiting and feel free to leave a comment.

  1. Sounds like you're feeling better Paul. That's good. Great progress you're making. Before you know it, you'll be cruzing down the blue highways. Merikay made some good progress today also. (Merikay's Dreams are Written in Smoke Blog)

  2. Be careful up on that roof... We don't want any setbacks to the progress you are making ;o)

  3. Excellent! It's all coming together!

  4. All little steps in the right direction, but when the official letter goes in, that will be a BIG step.

  5. RV travelling is always a wining heart attraction for me. Roof repair and its protection are always done by my reliable friend Mobile home Supplies so I am care free from leakage. Read More :
